Africa Liqueur Originale 47,5° This traditional West African spirit is made out of sugar cane and distilled three times before being filtered twice through charcoal and bottled by hand in Cotonou, Benin. To ensure the highest quality the distillery has recently undergone modernization by a team of leading French experts. Although the locals has traditionally been using Africa Liqueur as a cure to diseases ranging from fatigue to typhoid fever, this should obviously not be taken literally. However, this superstition in no way reduces the smooth rounded flavour of this tropical refreshment, with West Africa being tipped for being the next fashionable destination for spirit connoiseurs.
